Delivery Policy

  1.    Overview

At Prishda Energy, we deliver throughout Australia and to some overseas destinations.

We compare Australia Post Parcel Post, TNT, Express Post satchels and various courier companies, prior to arranging delivery to ensure we obtain the best price for delivery to your location.

  1. Delivery Costs

We use various online calculators provided by Australia Post and other courier companies to determine delivery costs. In general terms, costs are based on the following:

  • the delivery address provided by the customer (calculations take into consideration if delivery is to a business or residential address, remoteness of location, distance from pick-up site etc);
  • the weight and dimensions of the package;
  • if loss or damage cover is required; and
  • other fees and charges such as fuel levy, types of goods etc..
  1. Delivery Terms

A residential or business address needs to be provided as couriers do not deliver to Post Office Boxes. In some locations, goods can be delivered outside of business hours for extra fees.

In some instances, there may be a requirement that someone is available to sign for your delivery. A re-delivery fee may be charged if no-one was in attendance at the delivery address to accept the parcel. If there is a safe location the parcel can be left in the event that there is no one home, please leave instructions stating the safe place to avoid these extra charges. You will be prompted to do this during the check-out process. We will not be responsible for items that the courier/Australia Post leaves in the safe place. If no-one is home, then the items are left at your own risk. You may choose to have the items delivered to your workplace if this is convenient.

We reserve the right to change the courier you have selected at our discretion. However, if the courier you had chosen had insurance, the courier we change to will have equivalent insurance coverage.

  1. Delivery Timeframe

Dispatchment of your order will take place within 24 – 48 hours after your payment. Some items may take longer to dispatch due to special handling.

Delivery times after dispatch differ depending on the location of the delivery address and whether the item is dispatched by air or road. Major cities in the Southern Eastern states generally take two to three days, North Queensland four-seven days, Perth two-six days and Darwin three-seven days. Expect to add one-two days longer in regional areas and more than a week longer for remote areas.

If you need your order to arrive by a certain date, please contact us prior to placing an order so we can quote appropriate delivery options for your items to arrive on time.

  1. Delivery Tracking

On request, tracking/consignment numbers and delivery details can be provided to customers. Customers can enter these tracking/consignment numbers on the website links we provide so they can track the status of their delivery.

  1. Lost or Damaged Packages

Prishda Energy is not responsible for items damaged during transit and is not liable for any losses incurred.

If your parcel has been damaged, please record this with the delivery driver before they leave and report the issue to us within 24 hours of receiving the parcel. Take photos of the damaged box or satchel prior to opening it and email it to us so we can follow up with the courier company if you have insurance.

If the package was intact and undamaged, and you have opened your items and they are faulty, then please refer to our Warranty Policy.

We may change this policy from time to time by updating this page. You should check this page regularly to ensure that you are up to date with changes.
